I would like to talk about the political connotations and symbolism in this piece of art - highlighting the continual decline of American ideal that haunts its very successes in culture and an essentially flawed system in what could be viewed as a contemporary visual parallel to the literary works of F.Scott Fitzgerald.
But unfortunately, I can't, because when I was drawing it I was just wondering what it'd look like if someone shoved a wand through their chin, then lip, then nostril and out through the side of the nose. Quite good. |
